FIDE Master SANDER SEVERINO is considered the King of Philippine Para Chess for years.
The brilliant board game strategist began winning trophies and medals at an early age and earned the FIDE Master rating when he was only 15 years old. His 4-gold medal harvest at the 3rd edition of Asian Para Games in Jakarta last year (2018) helped the Philippines ascension to 11th place of the prestigious quadrennial para sports event.
The legendary wheelchair bound Filipino Para Woodpusher continue pushing his pieces to win more battles and expand his empire in the so-called “Game of Kings”.
Native of Silay City, Negros Occidental’s mastery in the game of chess will be witnessed again in the upcoming Philippines hosting of ASEAN Para Games in January 2020.
