After coming short in the opening leg of the FIG World Cup Series in Cottbus, Germany a few days ago, Yulo has zoomed his way back into magnificence as he blew away the field in ruling both the parallel bars and vault in the Doha, Qatar leg Thursday (Philippine time).

The 22-year-old spectacle from Manila was out of this world in emerging on top of the parallel bars where he scored 14.933 from 8.633 on execution and 6.3 on difficulty and vault where he amassed a total average of 14.800 from two jumps (14.900 and 14.700).

The two-time world champion brushed aside the same rivals who bested him in Cottbus—Ukraine’s Illia Kovtun and Armenia’s Artur Davtyan.

Thanks to the pair of feats, Yulo will have a chance to bring home three medals, hopefully gold, since he also qualified in the floor exercise by finishing No. 2 behind Israel’s Artem Dolgopyat.

And the Philippines will be behind Yulo in his quest to conquer the world again.
