Carlos Yulo, Karl Eldrew Yulo, Migs Besana, Zachary Nuñez, and Ace de Leon took on the men’s artistic gymnastics team final at the 20th Asian Games.

Carlos delivered two of the Philippines’ biggest scores of the day, putting up 14.266 on the floor and 14.566 on the vault. The team also posted its highest apparatus totals on those events, scoring 38.199 on floor and 42.365 on vault.

Eldrew added 13.966 on vault and 13.000 on floor, while Ace scored 13.833 on vault and 12.533 on rings.

The Philippines finished sixth with 227.359 points. China took the team gold with 255.095, followed by Japan with 253.826 and Chinese Taipei with 239.896.

Six rotations. Five gymnasts. One team carrying the Philippine flag through every routine.

Carlos and Eldrew return for the floor exercise final. Carlos will also compete in vault and parallel bars, while Migs heads into the vault final.
